The YPC National Lab is a summer choral intensive for singers ages 8-18, offering the opportunity to collaborate, learn and grow with choristers from around the world, under the direction of YPC’s Artistic Director and Founder, Francisco J. Núñez and YPC’s team of master-teachers.

Sing and form lasting connections with choristers from around the world, including the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and this year’s Guest Choir, Veus – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió!
LEARN
Learn from YPC’s world-renowned team of master teachers including Founder/Artistic Director, Francisco J. Núñez. Experience interdisciplinary workshops led by guest artists including conductor Josep Vila Jover, choreographer Jacquie Bird, vocal pedagogues, and this year’s composer in residence.
PERFORM
Explore repertoire from a wide range of traditions and styles, including a world premiere by YPC National’s composer in residence.
GROW
Develop tools as an artist, performer and leader that you can take back to your home choral community!

Who should apply?
Choristers ages 8-18 who are passionate about singing, eager to grow musically, and excited to connect with young artists from around the world.
What is the time commitment?
The YPC National Lab runs from approximately 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for four days, from July 22-25, 2026.
Is there housing available?
The YPC National Lab is a day program. Families are responsible for securing their chorister’s housing in New York City for the duration of the program.
What is the cost?
The Full Participation Fee for the YPC National Lab is $400. A limited number of partial scholarships will be available.
